CULTURECON / POSITIONING & LAUNCH MESSAGING

A clear voice for the future of work.

CultureCon’s founders wanted to bring business leaders together around the future of workplace culture. Before the first event, they needed a clear position: what the conference stood for, whom it served, and why people should take part.

Start with the people behind the idea.

I interviewed the two founders to uncover the convictions behind the concept, defined the brand’s position, and wrote the launch messaging and program copy for the inaugural CultureCon in Madison in 2018.

The story connected workplace culture to the experience of being human at work. Better workplaces could improve both business performance and people’s lives. Madison’s spirit of progress gave that ambition a natural starting point.

A position people could gather around.

The positioning gave the inaugural event a consistent voice, from its public introduction to the program in attendees’ hands. CultureCon has since become a recurring gathering for leaders exploring how work culture can change.
